Army Systems Management (SysMan)
Policy & Team Transition Guidance
The Army has transitioned all operating system, application, and patch packaging responsibilities from the former Army Golden Master (AGM) Program to the SysMan Team (effective 28 March 2025). While the AGM name is retired, the same personnel continue to build, test, and release packages for MCM, AUDS, and stand-alone systems without interruption.
Hardware Procurement Requirements
CHESS/Digital Marketplace (DM) vendors may pre-load desktop and notebook computers sold to Army customers with the currently approved SysMan image. Alternatively, vendors may provide the current version of the Microsoft Windows OS. This applies to all DM hardware contracts, including ADMC-3 and ITES-4H.
Current Builds & Recovery Media
To verify the latest operating system configurations, visit the SysMan SharePoint Online (SPO) Portal. If you require recovery media, contact your local NEC (or equivalent) or email the SysMan Support Desk at usarmy.netcom.mbx.sysman-support@army.mil.
Non-Standard & Custom Images
If your organization requires a non-SysMan or custom operating system image, you must adhere to the following workflow:
